The Office of Affirmative Action is responsible for carrying out Indiana State University's commitment to preventing discrimination on the basis of sex, race, age, national origin, sexual orientation, religion, disability or veteran status, against any of its employees, students or invited guests. The office provides leadership in supporting and enhancing campus diversity and an inclusive community, as well as developing, implementing and monitoring the ISU affirmative action plan and non discrimination policy and procedures. The office is responsible for the oversight and investigation of complaints of harassment or discrimination prohibited under law. It also provides resources and training in sexual harassment and employment discrimination prevention.
