Complaint Procedures

Indiana State University confirms its commitment to resolving complaints of discrimination on the basis of sex, race, age, national origin, sexual orientation, religion, disability or veteran status. The University’s non-discrimination policy applies to employment practices, conditions of employment, personnel actions and all educational programs.

Any member of the university community who believes he/she has been discriminated against may seek informal or formal resolution through the Affirmative Action Office.

No individual shall be penalized, or retaliated against in any way by a member of the University community for his/her participation in a complaint procedure.

To the extent permitted by law, complaints and information received during the investigation will remain confidential and will be maintained in the OAA. Relevant information will be provided only to those persons who need to know in order to achieve a timely resolution of the complaint.
