Listed below are estimated expenses for undergraduate international students for 2009-2010.

Please use this information when calculating the financial support necessary for admission to the University and granting of the I-20 eligibility document.

International Students—Undergraduates

  • Tuition and Fees:  $16,002.00
  • Book, Supplies, and Lab Fees:  $1,500.00
  • Living Expenses:  $11,300.00

Total per year:  $28,802.00

All expenses listed are estimated and subject to change. Expenses are listed as estimates only.

Tuition and fees include tuition fees and Student Recreation Center fee.

Living expenses include: dormitory room plus the Advantage Mean Plan, health insurance premiums, and personal expenses. The student can purchase health insurance at www.myisuinsurance.com

Living expenses could be higher or lower if students choose to live off campus or in the University Apartments. For University Apartments rates please go to residential life.

Spouse and children: students who wish to bring their families must calculate living expenses to include a minimum of $4,500 for the spouse and $2,500 for each additional child plus health insurance cost.
