Personal Campus Visits—Options
When scheduling your visit, you can select from one or more of the following areas.
In addition, information sessions can be arranged in other areas such as the University's Honors Program, Study Abroad Program, disability services, and more.
Academic Appointments
Talk with an advisor or professor in your area of interest. These appointments will allow you to gather specific information that will be important in your college selection process.
Information regarding program requirements, such as major requirements, minor requirements, and elective requirements, can
be provided.
Admissions Appointment
Sit with an admissions counselor, and get all your questions answered on how to apply, deadlines,
scholarship opportunities, majors available, and what you can be doing to prepare yourself for your first
year in college. Find out valuable information on the size of the university, student faculty ratios,
and how your classroom and outside learning experiences at ISU prepare you for your chosen career.
Campus Tour
A campus tour guide will lead you on a 75-minute walking tour of campus. You will be able to see many
facilities that Indiana State University has to offer. You will see the library, computer lab, classroom
buildings, athletic facilities, and more! This tour is designed to familiarize you with the size and
layout of our campus.
Financial Aid
By scheduling a financial aid appointment you will have the opportunity to receive information on
financing your education. Topics covered will include the financial aid process, forms, deadlines,
tuition payment program, and scholarships.
Lunch in the Sycamore Dining Hall
Take the opportunity to have lunch (at no cost) at our Sycamore Dining Hall. Eat where current
students eat. Enjoy the atmosphere, and see the variety of meal options available for our current students.
Student-to-Student
Here is the opportunity to ask a current ISU student about campus activities, classroom experiences,
and campus life. Learn about the opportunities that are open to ISU students such as study abroad, campus
jobs, student organizations and clubs, and much more. Don't forget to take the chance to ask about meal
plans and housing.
