Summer Honors Program

For High School Students

Indiana State University offers a Summers Honor Program for talented high school students. The program is open to all eligible high school students (including Indiana and out-of-state applicants).

Scholarships are available.


Participants select from a variety of seminars conducted on the Indiana State University campus under the teaching guidance of the University's most experienced faculty.

The program is an excellent way to:

  1. Earn University credit.
  2. Earn a scholarship to attend Indiana State University.
  3. Engage in college-level course work.
  4. Experience dorm and campus life.
  5. Meet, mingle, make new friends.
  6. Explore an academic interest.
  7. Select from challenging seminars in a variety of disciplines.

Over 14,000 high school students have completed a seminar, earned credit - and jump started their college education and career during the Program's 37 year history.
