What You Get with the Indiana State Advantage

Indiana State offers four years’ in-state tuition for qualified, Pell-eligible students in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Ohio, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, or Wisconsin. Students must have at least a 2.75 high school GPA to qualify. The average GPA for our incoming freshmen students is 3.25. Annual tuition coverage is contingent on continued academic performance.

Indiana State offers an Experience Grant worth up to $3,000 to support an out-of-classroom learning opportunity. This can be an internship, service trip, undergraduate research, creative activity, or study-abroad experience. The one-time grant will be available beginning the second year at Indiana State. If you sign up for Indiana State’s four-year graduation guarantee, and you complete your program requirements, you will graduate on time, or we will cover tuition for your remaining classes. More than 500 Sycamores signed up for the Guarantee in 2022! Students must sign up their freshman year to qualify for the Guarantee. The Guarantee is contingent upon students adhering to the graduation guarantee responsibilities.
