An appreciation of various media and styles used by visual artists, emphasizing art of the modern and contemporary periods. Includes interactive visual art experiences. 151 Visual Arts in Civilization--3 hours.
    A topical survey of major concepts in the visual arts and their relation to the societies which produced them. For non-Department of Art majors only. General Education Credits [GE89: C2,D1; GE2000: Literary, Artistic, and Philosophical Studies-Electives]
200 Special Problems in Art--3 hours.
    Problems relating to specific art media. May be taken for General Education credit by non-art majors only. Does not satisfy studio requirements for art majors. General Education Credits [GE89: C3; GE2000: Literary, Artistic, and Philosophical Studies-Elective]
401 Special Problems in Art--1-3 hours..
    Problems relating to specific topics within an area of art. For non-Department of Art majors only.
