Am I required to have a laptop?
No, laptops are not required. However, we strongly encourage you to have a laptop. Our classroom
facility allows you access to the Internet and you may find this beneficial. Because a significant
portion of the program utilizes distance technologies, you must be able to access the Internet
outside of class. Any required software will be provided to you. We also expect that our students
will be proficient with email, web browsing, and standard IT tools such as word processing,
spreadsheets, and presentation software.
Who do I contact to make sure you got my payment?

Who do I talk to about financial aid?

Is the GMAT required?
No, the GMAT is not required for the ProMBA program.
When will I know if I have been accepted to the
program?
The Admissions Committee will not act upon your application until it is complete. The amount of
time that it takes to receive transcripts, letters of recommendation, etc. varies. You can check on
your application at any time by calling the Graduate Programs office at (812)237-2002. Once your
application is complete, it will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee and you will receive a
letter informing you of the decision.
Once you have been admitted, you will receive a payment card and instructions. Be sure to make
your deposit by the date specified on the card. If you do not, your admission will be rescinded and
you will not be allowed to register for classes.
When will I register for classes?
Once you have been accepted to the program, you will be notified when it is time to register for
the first term. The Graduate Programs office will register you for classes. You will receive
notification once you have been registered for the first semester. After that, you will be registered
for the next term as you near the end of the present term.
What happens if I get transferred with my job in the middle
of the program?
You will receive full credit on your transcript for all classes you have completed while at
Indiana State. Because we are accredited by the AACSB-I, most schools will accept some or all of your
courses in their own MBA programs. However, every school is different and you must check with the
school to determine whether your ISU classes will be accepted. If you have paid tuition for a term
that has not yet started, you will be entitled to a 100% refund. However, once a term starts, no
refunds are given for payment for that term.
