Edit Personal Information
To edit personal information in Blackboard log onto http://blackboard.indstate.edu. Click on Personal information under the tool box on top left hand side.
Click on Personal information, the personal information page looks like this

Click on Edit Personal Information, The Edit Personal Information page looks like this. Edit those fields, which you want to change, click OK to finish or Cancel to abort all the changes
This first section has information that must be present for you to successfully log into Blackboard. The items with the red asterisk must be present.
This second section has spaces for directory information. You may fill out as much as you choose to fill in.
Once you have added or updated your information, press the submit button.
To set the CD-ROM drive used to access content on your local computer, click on Set CD-ROM drive. Type in CD-ROM for MAC if required, Click Submit to finish or Cancel to abort
Set Privacy Options
To select which fields of your personal information are publicly available, Click on the Privacy Options.
Once you have updated your personal information, you can then select what will be visible or available to anyone within the same Blackboard courses you are enrolled in at this time.
If you choose to be listed in the global Blackboard directory, you can check the box in section two. Any of the information selected in section will also be visible to anyone in Blackboard, regardless of the courses they are enrolled in.
Once you have added or updated your information, press the submit button.
Check the check boxes against those fields to make them available. Click Submit to finish or Cancel to abort all the changes
Click OK to return to Main Menu
