AMOS 5.01 Client Installation Instructions

Add AMOS 5.01 to your Workstation
1. Exit all windows programs you have running.
2. Click Start > Run
3. In the box, type the following command:
\\emprodv\emprod\stats\amos5.01\setup.exe
4. Click OK
5. The AMOS 5 Network Client -Installshield Wizard will start.
- On the "Welcome to installshield Wizard for AMOS 5 Network
- On the "Client " Screen, click NEXT.
- On the "On the "The Destination Folder “Screen, click NEXT.
- On the "Ready to Install the Program" Screen, click INSTALL.
§ AMOS will install the files. - Click FINISH.
Additional Components You May Need
You will need "Adobe Acrobat Reader" to read the on-line syntax guides.
- Your computer may already have this software in the programs directory.
Verify by clicking Start>Programs - You may download it free from the Adobe web site at www.adobe.com
Follow their instructions.
You will need ODBC to read data from databases and spreadsheets.
- Most computers already have this software.
Verify by using "Find" (Click Start>Find) to search for ODBC in the
C:\Windows\System Directory. You should see a series of ODBC files. - If you need to install ODBC, call the Help Desk at ext. 2910 for information.
