Visualization is the art or science of converting abstract information into something easily understood through the use of multimedia technologies.
In February 2007, to answer the multiple requests for visualization technologies, the Center for Instruction, Research, and Technology unveiled the Center for Visualization to the Indiana State University community. The Center for Visualization is the culmination of a multi-departmental initiative started in late 2004 to develop advanced tools for instruction and research at Indiana State.
The Center for Visualization strives to have a measurable impact on the academic reputation of Indiana State University through assisting in innovative instruction and technology enhanced research.
We are located on the lower level of Normal Hall, room 124. We welcome and encourage scheduled tours of our facility.
