Individuals may register for a variety of ISU distance courses—without enrolling in a degree or certificate program.

Register for one (or more) courses as a non-degree student and earn credit for professional development or continuing education—including license renewal. Credit earned may be transferred to another institution or applied toward an ISU degree or program (if applicable).

Prior to enrolling, individuals should contact Education Student Services (at right) if they have questions regarding course applicability for their particular career goals.

Important:  Pre-approval by Education Student Services (at right) is required before enrolling in any course intended to be used for Indiana license renewal.

All distance courses are available in Indiana; selected courses are available out-of-state. Some courses require on-campus visits. To confirm course availability for a particular semester, check the class schedule or contact Education Student Services at (812) 237-3131.
