The Human Resource Development Program prepares students for careers in higher education, industry, government, and other agencies. Course work is designed to enable students to complete their degrees while maintaining full-time employment or other responsibilities.
This master's program requires a total of 33-36 credit hours, depending on whether the Human Resource Development course 605 must be taken. The program combines a flexible core curriculum with a directed specialization option. Students may choose a specialization to reflect their current area of employment, work experience, or particular area of interest.
Students obtain practical, applied work experience by completing an occupational internship. This internship can be completed while maintaining current employment, but requires affiliation with industry or appropriate organizations.
The master's program can be completed in one-and-a-half years. Students also have the option of part-time study; however, students are required to complete the program within seven years.
Delivery
All courses in the Human Resource Development Program are offered on-line (via
the Internet).
