In-state, out-of-state, and international students can complete this program.
This on-line program, consisting of 15 credit hours of integrated library media courses, allows an individual to obtain certification required for directors of public libraries serving communities with a population of 10,000 or fewer.
Students seeking a Public Librarian IV certification must meet other minimum requirements set forth by the State Library of Indiana. Residents of states other than Indiana must check with their state's certification agency to ensure transferability.
Students seeking to complete the program in international settings are responsible for access to current technologies to complete program requirements.
All students are responsible for securing placement in appropriate library settings for completion of program requirements.
