Program Description: | The purpose of the proposed short-term study trip to Portugal is to gain conversancy with the environment for entrepreneurship in Portugal, focusing on the role played by government, universities and the private sector in the creation and growth of new ventures. We will also learn about the country’s unique history and culture by experiencing its food, music and culture while learning about and visiting its rich historical sights. Students will learn about the micro and macro environments for business in Portugal through a range of visits that will provide a window into the successful Portuguese experiment for supporting and growing new ventures. |
