Book & Torch Society
The Book and Torch Society honors Indiana State philanthropists for their lifetime giving to the institution. This society recognizes individuals, corporations and foundations that have had a significant impact on Indiana State by making one-time or cumulative gifts of $100,000 or more.
The book and the torch are emblematic symbols depicted on the Indiana State University seal. The book symbolizes knowledge and truth gained at Indiana State, while the torch symbolizes the light of inspiration passed to generations of students. The dedication and support of Book and Torch donors help us to uphold this deep tradition of knowledge, inspiration and truth.
