In some cases, ISU graduate students may need or wish to earn credit from another institution for transfer to Indiana State University.
Prior to enrolling in courses at another institution, graduate students should check with their ISU academic advisors to ensure transferability and applicability of each course to their particular programs of study at Indiana State University.
Graduate students must submit a transfer of credit approval application as well as official transcripts of all courses being considered for acceptance to their departmental advisors. For instructions and application, refer to this graduate transfer of credit information.
Upon receipt of official transcripts, the transfer credit will be evaluated by the student's department and applied to graduation requirements at ISU (as appropriate). Students will see the transfer credit evaluation on their DARS report when approved by the College of Graduate and Professional Studies.
