The endorsed insurance administrator of Indiana State University Retiree Medical Program is National Employee Benefit Companies (NEBCO), an AmWINS Group Benefits operating company.  The plan is available to qualifying retirees and their spouse who are age 65 or older, no longer working and enrolled in Medicare Parts A and B. 

You become Medicare-eligible on the first day of the month in which you turn age 65.  This retiree medical plan picks up where Medicare leaves off and is underwritten by Monumental Life Insurance Company.  This plan includes a Medicare Part D prescription drug plan underwritten by Stonebridge Life Insurance Company.  The Dental coverage is administrated by Delta Dental of Indiana and more information can be found under the Dental section.

Effective January 1,2013 a new comprehensive program to enhance the health and well-being of plan participants has been added.  The new program, Manage My Health, is designed to offer greater assistance to our retirees and spouses by giving them easy, confidential access to extensive programs and services that can improve their physical and mental health.  It includes 24 hour access to doctors on call, emergency identification cards, and extensive counseling for stress, depression, mental health, grief and bereavement.  Manage My Health also includes programs for nutrition, wellness, and elder care planning for the caregivers of retirees.
