Music Theater / Opera
Opera Workshop is designed to give
intermediate to advanced singers experience in the preparation and
performance of fully-staged opera and music theater scenes and
productions. The course focuses on works that employ solo and
small ensemble singing, for the development of musical and dramatic
stage techniques with a minimum of sets and costuming. Open by
audition to all students above the freshman level who are enrolled
for applied voice study.
Opera Workshop, course number: 253A, meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays
from 12:15 to 1:45PM.
