Indiana State University on Feb. 2 will host the 14th annual Groundhog Day Economic Forecast event.
A panel of business experts and economists will discuss the year ahead and what the economic future holds.
Panelists include Lakshmi Balasubramanyan, ISU assistant professor of finance; Bill Chew, executive vice president of SUPERVALU's midwest/southeast supply chain services region; Brian Conley, owner and president of Conley Real Estate Appraisals; Gerry Dick, host and creator of Inside INdiana Business; and Robert Guell, ISU professor of economics.
The Groundhog Economic Day Forecast is sponsored by the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce, Indiana State University Scott College of Business and the Terre Haute Savings Bank.
A continental breakfast will be served at 6:45 a.m., and the event begins at 7:20 a.m. in the ISU Hulman Memorial Student Union, DEDE I. Tickets for the event are $20 for Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce members and $30 for the public.
