Indiana State University's Masterworks Chorale, a community choir that serves the Wabash Valley, is looking for vocalists who love music and are interested in performing.
The 80 - 100 voice ensemble, which performs major choral works each semester, is comprised of ISU students, faculty and staff, as well as community members from the Wabash Valley. This fall, the group will perform Gloria (Antonio Vivaldi) and Magnificat (John Rutter), under the direction of Mark Carlisle.
New members, as well as returners, are welcome to participate. Rehearsals are held Monday evenings from 7 - 9 p.m. in Room 150 of the Center for Performing and Fine Arts, on the corner of 7th and Chestnut Streets. Rehearsals begin Sept. 12.
A $30 activity fee will be assessed to cover musical expenses each semester, unless registered for ISU credit.
For more information, please contact the ISU School of Music at 812-237-2771.
