Take Back The Night: Fight Like A Girl Love Like A Boy, sponsored by the Indiana State University Women Studies 450 class, will take place on Nov. 15 at 5:30 p.m.
The event will be held on the campus of Indiana State University in DEDE I, on the corner of Fifth and Chestnut Streets.
Take Back The Night brings awareness to domestic abuse. There will be a presentation about domestic abuse, where it comes from, how to stop it and how to get help. There will be special guests to share their stories about surviving domestic abuse during the presentation. After the presentation there will be a rally march to stand against domestic abuse at 6 p.m.
The theme this year is purple out. Come dressed in purple in support of victims and survivors of domestic abuse. For more information about the event please go to our Facebook page under Take Back The Night-Indiana State University or follow us on Twitter under @TBTN_ISU.
