The Indiana State University Recycle Center will mark America Recycles Day on Thursday (Nov. 15) with tours aimed at raising awareness of recycling on campus and in the community.
The Recycle Center, located at 944 N. Ninth Street, will conduct tours of the facility at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Staff members will also provide information about where materials go to be recycled and what items are made from materials that have been collected for recycling.
The center will also give away America Recycles bags to people using its drive-through service. Bags will be distributed starting at 7 a.m. and the distribution will continue until all available bags are gone.
