Nathan Menge is currently a junior in his second semester of the Indiana State Baccalaureate Nursing Program. He is 23 years old and graduated from high school in 2008 from Terre Haute North Vigo High School. After taking two years off from school to participate in an internship in Texas, he returned to Indiana with the intent of pursuing an Associate degree in Nursing at Ivy Tech Community College but ultimately decided that a Bachelor's degree would be better and transferred to ISU with several classes already completed. Nathan plans to graduate in the spring of 2015 but does not have specific plans as to what area of nursing he wishes to enter, preferring to wait and learn more in later classes before making the decision. He is extremely grateful for the support he has received from his entire family, especially from his mother who is a practicing nurse and enjoys testing his knowledge and learning new information alongside him. Nathan sincerely appreciates being chosen as a scholarship recipient and thanks all who have been involved in enabling him to continue his education towards a nursing career.
