Renee Bauer has been teaching nursing since 2005. Prior to teaching at ISU, Renee taught clinicals for Ivy Tech Community College since 2005 along with facilitating clinicals at Indiana State University. After working 17 years in psychiatric mental health, Renee has taught NURS 200 - Nursing Assessment of the Adult and NURS 226 - Nursing in Mental Illness clinicals at Indiana State University. Renee worked in home health care for two years to become more familiar with assessment and 1:1 care. While she has worked with all age groups, Renee primarily enjoys adolescent mental health.
Presently, Ms. Bauer works per diem at Harsha Behavioral Center with clinical and staff development and Hamilton Center in the clinical capacity. She is looking forward to student advisement and pursuing her PhD at the University. Recently, she was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi sorority and Sigma Theta Tau International.
