About this Service Guide

This service guide is intended to provide a general overview of services provided by OIT, and to indicate at some level the kinds of things we can do for our customers. It is important to note:

  1. OIT Service Activities - are not all inclusive – this is a general list, but if you need us to help with something you don’t see listed, please call or submit a request to the Help Desk!
     
  2. A Service Level is a general standard. These are the metrics we use to judge our service responses at general and specific levels. Sometimes we need to respond much more quickly than the service level indicated here. Your call to the Help Desk or your interaction with OIT support staff will give us information that will guide our response – and we will respond as quickly as we can when a need is urgent.
     
  3. This Guide is intended to provide an overview of things we do, and how to request those services from us. Additional information about technology on campus, such as FAQs, instructions, and trouble-shooting or problem resolution information, can be found in our audience pages, which can found via our Help Desk page:
