LAN Server Support
This group, a part of Technical Support, installs and maintains the
servers which support network file storage and sharing, server
queue-based network printing, software sharing and delivery, desktop
imaging, and other services.
Groupwise Email Server Support
Specialized servers to deliver GroupWise email and groupware services
are configured and maintained by this group. These services include
server postoffices, specialized client software, web interfaces to the
postoffices, IMAP interface to the postoffices, and managing more than
700gigabytes of postoffice disk space.
Network-based printing services
Server based printing offers shared printing to high end printers and
offloading of printing services from the local workstation to a remote
server.
