Student Employment Opportunities

 

       Campus employment is a great way if you are looking for work.

Dining Service: Students are employed in the residence hall dining facilities or the Commons serving, clean-up, and some food preparation. Students usually work 10 -20 per week. Preference is given to students living on campus. Applications are available in the individual kitchens and at the Dining Services Office located in the lower level between Mills and Rhoads Halls.

Maintenance and Housekeeping: There are a limited number of positions available as student maintenance workers and student housekeepers in the residence halls. Applications are available in the Complex Office.

Hall Staff: A variety of individuals are employed in each hall to work as Desk Receptionists, Mail Clerk and Night Host. Students usually work 12 -20 hours. Job descriptions and applications are available from the Assistant Hall Directors or the Area Director for the hall in which you want to work. . Return the completed application to the hall in which you want to work.

Resident Assistant (RA)/ Academic Peer Advocate (APA): Selection for these position occurs during the spring semester for the next academic year. Contact your Area Director for more information.
