Commuter Students
SAO seeks to foster commuter student involvement within the university community by offering a variety of programs and support which address the diverse needs of the commuter student population, in addition to, promoting connections and access to campus resources and services.
Two valuable resource are the Connections Lounge on the south end of the first floor of the HMSU next to the elevators and the Sycamore Lounge on the north end of the first floor of the HMSU across from the LeClub. There you will find rooms with couches, desks, tables, televisions, and a microwave.
SAO also seeks to provide commuter students with information concerning the educational, recreational, cultural, social, and other co-curricular opportunities found within the campus community. Furthermore, SAO serves as an advocate for the commuter student population and encourages commuter student representation within campus governance.
