Alumni Golf Outings:
Register now for one of the summer golf outings hosted by the Indiana State University Alumni Association.
Children's Day at the Garden: This event is a hands-on
learning experience where kids of all ages can explore gardening, healthy food, recycling, bat research, and sustainability. Mark your calendar and plan to attend
this event on June 28 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the ISU Community Garden, 219 North 11th Street, Terre Haute. This event is free and open to the public.
Please Note: Volunteers are needed to staff the event on Saturday, June 28 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Volunteers are also needed on the
afternoon of Friday, June 27 to prepare for this event. Please contact Caroline.Savage@indstate.edu to sign up.
This event is a collaborative effort between the Terre Haute Children's Museum, ISU's Recycle Center, the Wabash River Mycological Society,
ISU's Center for Bat Research, Outreach, and Conservation, Terre Foods Cooperative Market, and ISU's Institute for Community Sustainability.
Chinese Culture Summer Camp: The Chinese School of the Wabash Valley, Inc. (a community engagement project of the Bayh College
of Education) will be hosting their annual Chinese Culture Summer Camp from 1:00-4:00 p.m. on July 14-18, 2014 in University Hall.
The camp is designed to introduce the Chinese culture and language and is open to all ages in the ISU and surrounding community.
A limited number of scholarships are available.
Day at the Downs: Join the Indiana State University Alumni Association on Millionaires
Row for a Day at the Downs on Saturday, June 21, 2014. Gates open at 11:30 a.m. First race is at 12:45 p.m. Churchill Downs is located at 700 Central Avenue,
Tickets are $40 each and include admission, a seat in Millionaires Row, buffet lunch, and an ISU t-shirt. Come dressed in your Derby
best for a chance to win an ISU giveway. Tickets can be purchased by calling Ben Kappes at (812) 514-8496.
Emeriti Ice Cream Social: This event is scheduled for August 13, 2014 from 1:30-3:00 p.m. at
Westminster Village. For more information or to make reservations, please contact the Alumni Association at 514-8400.
High School Summer Honors: Register for one of our one-week
seminars for high school students, to be held July 20-26, 2014 on the ISU campus. Explore an academic interest. Experience campus life.
Earn University credit.
March On! Awards: This Indiana State University Foundation event, designed to celebrate Indiana State University philanthropy, will be held
July 26, 2014 in the Cosmopolitan Ballroom of the Hyatt Regency, One South Capitol Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana. For more information, please call (812) 514-8400.
The University's Community School of the Arts offers individual (one-on-one) music lessons to students of all ages and ability levels.
Lessons are offered in the following areas: brass, woodwind, guitar, percussion, piano, strings, and voice.
Terre Haute REX Baseball:
Season tickets are on sale now: $162 for Backstop grandstands; $240 for Reserve seats; and $330 for Scout seats. Also offering half season tickets.

Women of Indianapolis Giving to Sycamores (WInGS): Join
us for a special program "What They Didn't Tell You in School...Insights from Women in Business" on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at the
Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art, 500 West Washington Street, Indianapolis. Join fellow ISU women for lunch and a
lively presentation, war stories, and questions and answers about the challenges and opportunities of being a woman in the business world.
