Ignite! Scholar Workshop

  • Spark K-12 interest in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM)

Ready to learn about the great STEM activities NASA has available? Looking to improve your mentoring and education skills? Please join us for a two day NASA Ignite! training workshop held:

Friday, 23 October from 5:30p to 8:30p
AND
Saturday, 24 October from 9:00a to 3:00p
Myers Technology Center, Room 114 at Indiana State University

These hands-on, interactive sessions will feature activities from NASA’s Education curriculum and will cover a broad range of STEM topics including the solar system, forces and motion, rockets, the engineering design process and more! This workshop will also include an introduction to best practices in afterschool pedagogy and education as well as Dimensions of Success, a framework for the meaningful integration of STEM activities.
