Steppin’ Sycamores is a 6-week walking challenge designed to encourage you to move more. Move because your health depends on it! This year we will be walking through a virtual map. To see map, click here.
Here’s how it works: Each week, you will be given a destination, a distance, and a daily recommended step amount. In order to complete the map and make your way to the Steppin’ Sycamores Hangout which is 196 miles away, you will need to take 392,000 total steps over the 6-week period.
Weekly Steppin’ Goals:
Week 1—Tulip Tree 52,500 steps (7,500 steps per day)
Week 2—Blue Leaf Bridge 59,500 steps (8,500 steps per day)
Week 3—Sycamore Sam Stop 66,500 steps (9,500 steps per day)
Week 4—Hoosiers Hillside 70,000 steps (10,000 steps per day)
Week 5—Cardinal Ridge 70,000 steps (10,000 steps per day)
Week 6—Steppin’ Sycamores Hangout 73,500 steps (10,500 steps per day)
Each week, you will be sent an email to remind you to log your weekly steps.
There will be a weekly drawing for prizes!
In order to be entered into the prize drawing each week:
· Your name will be placed in the drawing once if you do not make the weekly step goal, but you log your steps.
· Your name will be placed in the drawing twice if you reach the weekly step goal and you log your steps.
· Your name will be placed in the drawing three times if you exceed the weekly step goal and you log your steps.
The more your name is placed in the drawing the more likely you are to win a weekly prize and the overall grand prize. The drawing is cumulative over the 6-week program.
