Emery Becker: The Wide Road in Front of Me
February 10-25, 2022 Turman Gallery

Remembering Emery Becker (1992-2018)
A passion for theater. A passion for photography and technology. A passion for life and love of all people. Emery Becker is a 2015 graduate of Indiana State University with a degree in theater design and technology. Following graduation, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his theater career and his passion for photography, becoming a well-known music photographer in L.A.’s indie music scene. Emery was tragically killed by a drunk driver on March 18, 2018. His parents Susan ’81, and Victor Becker and twin sister, Clara, are keeping his memory alive through the Emery Becker Theater Design and Technology Memorial Scholarship endowment at Indiana State. The family’s generous support has made this exhibition possible. Shortly after the closing reception, the ISU Department of Theater will be performing a show at the New Theater.
