Mathematics and Mentoring for Girls (M^2) is an after school enrichment program for 7th and 8th grade girls.  The aim of the program is to promote a love of mathematics in middle school girls, particularly girls from low income families, encourage them to continue to take further mathematics courses, and develop a community of girls and women who are engaged in mathematics.  The participants develop relationships with ISU women mathematics students and professors that we hope will encourage them to attend college.  They receive a mathematics tool kit that is used through the year-long program that they then take home at the end of the school year.
