Employee Recognition

Employee Recognition helps employees see that Indiana State University values them and their contributions as well as helps employees build a sense of security, motivating them to continue great work. Indiana State University implements the following guidelines for Employee Recognition of Service:

Indiana State University will award employees for each five (5) year increments of employment. Each award will include the Indiana State University logo with an emblem on the award where applicable, or employees choice of lapel pin or charm.

• Once a month, a designated HR personnel will create and submit a data file to an outside vendor
• For each anniversary, a congratulatory email will go to the employee and their designated supervisor
• The employee will access the web-based catalog and make their gift selection

Once every fiscal year (generally will occur in the Fall), an Employee Recognition of Service Brunch will be held to announce all service anniversaries for the past fiscal year
