In preparation for career fairs happening throughout the academic year, we have provided resources below to help set you up for success. Career Center Resources

• Career Fair Preparation, Networking, and Resume Writing Guides - Review our Career Services guide on writing résumés that gives advice on many subjects from making effective bullet points to providing a reference sheet and rubric for you to evaluate your résumé. Explore our guide on how to prepare for the career fairs and how to network during the fair. 
• Walk-In Résumé Critique Prior to Fair - Attend walk-ins at least one week prior to the career fair to receive feedback and then upload your revised résumé to Handshake
  • Walk-In Hours: Monday - Friday 10:00am-12:00pm and 1:00-3:00pm
• Professional Clothing Closet - Stop by the Career Center between 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday-Friday and "shop" in our professional clothing closet. Students and alumni may have up to 4 pieces a month of professional clothing for internships, current employment, job interviews, etc. 
• Iris Photobooth Sponsored by Union Health - Update your professional headshot in your Handshake profile and LinkedIn profile using our on-demand professional photo booth available 8:30 a.m.- 4 p.m. Monday-Friday.
• Handshake App - Please download the Handshake app to register for the fair as well as engage directly with employers during and after the career fairs. You must activate your Handshake account to engage with the QR feature for employers and students at the Career Fairs.
