Theodore Dreiser Visiting Writers Series
Poet Brandon Courtney will read from his work as part of the series. This event is free and open to the public. Brandon Courtney is a veteran of the United States Navy, and the author of The Grief Muscles and Rooms for Rent in the Burning City, as well as the chapbooks Inadequate Grave and Improvised Devices. This Sisyphus, his third full-length collection, is forthcoming from YesYes Books in March 2019. His poetry appears or is forthcoming in Verse Daily, Best New Poets, Tin House, Guernica, The Los Angeles Review, Memorious, The Progressive and American Literary Review.
