Poet Brandon Courtney will read from his work as part of the series. This event is free and open to the public. Brandon Courtney is a veteran of the United States Navy, and the author of The Grief Muscles and Rooms for Rent in the Burning City, as well as the chapbooks Inadequate Grave and Improvised Devices. This Sisyphus, his third full-length collection, is forthcoming from YesYes Books in March 2019. His poetry appears or is forthcoming in Verse Daily, Best New Poets, Tin House, Guernica, The Los Angeles Review, Memorious, The Progressive and American Literary Review.

Barnes & Noble will have great prizes available such as an Amazon Fire Stick, game night bundle, coffee pot and a movie night pack. Santa will be available for a photo booth as well. Bring your rentals along and get them checked in before Dec. 14.

Sycamore Service Saturday is a program that provides service opportunities once a month on a Saturday. The Center for Community Engagement is partnering with several community partners throughout the Wabash Valley. Check-in will be at the Center for Community Engagement in Tirey Hall from 8-8:30 a.m.
