Our $tart Now financial literacy sessions focus on helping you build a basic budget and start saving for the future. We’ll also make sure you understand the DOs and DON’Ts of credit, and how to view your loan repayment options.

Nobel Prize Book Club: García Márquez

Gabriel Garcí­a Má¡rquez, of Colombia was awarded a Nobel Prize in 1982. Book discussion led by Dr. Cody Hanson. The Department of Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics Nobel Prize Book Club is free and open to the public. Participants are invited to read the selected texts translated into English and/or in their original language. Book club discussions will be in English.

International Pronoun Day

First International Pronouns Day is Wednesday, October 17, 2018. International Pronouns Day seeks to make asking, sharing and respecting personal pronouns commonplace. Referring to people by the pronouns they determine for themselves is basic to human dignity. Being referred to by the wrong pronouns particularly affects transgender and gender nonconforming people. Together, we can transform society to celebrate people’s multiple, intersecting identities.
