Guest Artist Series: Viver Brasil Public Showcase Performance

Activities are made possible in part by the Arts Project Support Grant funded by Arts Illiana, and the Indiana Arts Commission, which receives support from the State of Indiana and the National Endowment for the Arts. Additional support is provided by the University Arts Endowment Committee at Indiana State University, as well as the Community School for the Arts, The Charles E. Brown African American Cultural Center, The College of Arts and Sciences, The Departments of History, Music, and the Department of Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics.

Student Ensemble Series: ISU Symphony Orchestra Concert

Indiana State University’s Symphony Orchestra Concert Conductor Dr. Yunjung Lee Symphony Orchestra will be playing: Petite Suite, L. 65 by Claude Debussy, “Fugue” from Serenade for String Orchestra by Norman Leyden, Pizzicato Polka by Leo Delibes/Williams with Linda Luebke String Festival students. Intermission. Symphony No. 1 in C major, Op. 21 by Ludwig van Beethoven. Free admissions and Open to public. Faculty Artist Series: ISU Music Faculty Gala

The Indiana State University School of Music opens its concert season with the 12th Annual Faculty Gala Concert at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept.15, 2022 in the University Hall Auditorium. This year’s recital features performances by the School of Music's new oboe teacher Rebecca McGuire and new Interim Director Ted J. Piechocinski. Also, Ukrainian-born Dr. Yana Weinstein will be singing two Ukrainian folksongs. In addition, Brass, String, and Woodwind Faculty will perform a wide variety of solo and chamber music.
