Black History Month: African American Read-In Chain

The African American Read-In Chain is an annual National event sponsored by the Black Caucus of the National Council of Teachers of English. The event brings together communities across the country to make literacy a significant part of Black History Month. This is Indiana State Universities 2nd annual event and will feature readers from Indiana State University as well as the Terre Haute community. Original art work and reading from community members will also be highlighted.

Dessert Potluck Event

Institute for Community Sustainability and the Center for Global Engagement presents: Dessert Potluck Event! Please join us for our dessert potluck event. Five Muslim women in a post-9/11 world serve tea and uncover what lies beneath the veil in this critically acclaimed one-woman show. After the play, a discussion will be focused on National Hijab Day Feb. 1.
