Taboo Topic: Make architecture indigenous again

    Taboo Talks programming aims to create well-rounded and informed discussions on relevant socially charged topics. The program targets all students who wish to increase their social consciousness, and wish to say abreast hot topics. Discussion led by Chris Cornelius, who is a citizen of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin and an Associate Professor of Architecture at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He is the founding principal of studio: indigenous, a design practice serving indigenous clients.

Belief Zone: The role of African American Women in the Black Church

The program provides participants with tools to understand different cultures and be able to start and have the difficult conversations surrounding religious beliefs.
