Reception to honor Vice President Willie Banks
The ISU community is invited to a reception honoring Dr. Willie Banks Jr., vice president for student affairs. Dr. Banks has been named vice chancellor of student affairs at the University of California, Irvine. A short program will take place at 4 p.m. Please join us in thanking Dr. Banks for his service to Indiana State during the past four years.
Massage Therapy Pioneer Erik Dalton
Erik Dalton is a recognized pioneer in the bodywork community. His prolific writing and highly educational courses earned him induction into the Massage Therapy Hall of Fame in 2007 and the One Concept Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012. With over thirty years educating massage therapists around the world, Dalton is among the best teachers a professional bodyworker could ever study with.
Theodore Dreiser Visiting Writers Series featuring Lynn Melnick
Poet Lynn Melnick will read for the Theodore Dreiser Visiting Writers Series. The event is free and open to the public. Lynn Melnick is the author of the poetry collections Landscape with Sex and Violence and If I Should Say I Have Hope, both with YesYes Books, and the co-editor of Please Excuse This Poem: 100 Poets for the Next Generation.
