About College Challenge Instructors

College Challenge instructors are among the most qualified and respected teachers at their high schools. Each teacher's syllabus and credentials are reviewed and approved by the appropriate Indiana State University academic department. Generally, College Challenge Teachers are lecturers with Indiana State University and are qualified to teach that same course on ISU's campus for college credit.

A College Challenge teacher has a dual responsibility: as a full-time high school teacher and a part-time University lecturer. Teachers selected for the College Challenge Program generally hold advanced degrees in their area and attend professional development sessions at ISU for these courses. Throughout their time as College Challenge instructors, these teachers work closely with Indiana State University faculty to implement each course's special curricula.
