Biology Departmental Seminar

Dr. Urvi  J. Desai, PhD, PharmD, clinical pharmacist at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center in Houston, is an ISU alumna of the biology doctoral program and will be speaking as part of our celebration of 50 years of doctoral training in biology at ISU.

Her talk, entitled "Research In Pharmacology: From Drug Development To Clinical Pharmacology", will include her career perspectives as a drug development researcher in the industry and then in making the transition to becoming a clinical pharmacologist.

In this series, visiting scientists will talk about their biology research in 50-minute presentations that are open to the public.

Each talk is followed by a question and answer session.
