Polar Plunge

The Polar Plunge is the signature Special Olympics Indiana fundraiser. Since its inception, Hoosiers have raised more than $3.4 million making the Polar Plunge the largest fundraising event benefiting Special Olympics in the state. Individuals and groups jump into the frigid water, soliciting donations from family and friends-often dressing up to make this “bucket list” activity as memorable as possible.

Indiana State University will once again host the Polar Plunge. Please join us for the frigidly fun event with check-in beginning at 9 a.m. and the plunge is at 10 a.m.  The plunge and all of the activities take place at the Student Recreation Center patio which has bleachers for spectators, After Splash Bash (yummy lunch), costume contest, music and a coffee/hot chocolate bar.
