The Cunningham Memorial Library, working in conjunction with the ISU departments of English and history and the Charles E. Brown African American Cultural Center, will host an African American Read-In. This event is part of the National African American Read-In Chain that is sponsored annually by the National Council of Teachers of English.

The event will take place in the Teaching Materials area, on the lower level of the library, with literature readings from 1 - 1:45 p.m. and historic readings from 2:15-3 p.m. Each session is followed by a 30-minute reception which will include an art show and a drawing.
