Teaching Interests

  • My teaching interests include group counseling, counseling children and adolescents and ethical issues in counseling. I also enjoy teaching theories of counseling and providing supervision to students.

Research Interests

  • My research interests include multicultural competence for counselors, mentoring and its impact on dropout rates among African American Males, mentoring and its impact on social interest, as well as issues surrounding parental mental illness and its impact on adolescent youth.
