Spirit Day is a means of speaking out against LGBTQ bullying and standing with LGBTQ youth, who disproportionately face bullying and 

Indiana State and the Terre Haute community will be able to memorialize those who have been murdered as a result of transphobia and to draw attention to the continued violence endured by the transgender community.

This workshop series was designed to be safe space for open and honest dialogue surrounding the intersections of the LGBTQ community.

Students will be able to choose an educational movie that will help them understand the issues that evident in the LGBTQ community. Possible films can be those that are brought by participants. Some films in-house are: To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything Julie Newmar; Who Was She? The Death and Life of Marsha P. Johnson; Big Eden; Pariah; Transamerica; and/or Paris Burning.

During this week students who identify as Bisexual will be able to feel appreciated and recognized in the LGBTQ+ community.
