Death to the Old Law and its Old Servants: Soviet Law, Canon Law, and the Trials of Orthodox Clergymen in Soviet Russia

Dr. Francesca Silano, Indiana University, will speak on dual legal systems in Soviet Russia as part of the International Studies Spring Speaker Series. 

The speaker series is sponsored by the Department of Multidisciplinary Studies, with Indiana University's Russia and East European Institute and Russian Studies Workshop, with generous funding from the Carnegie Corporation of New York.

Legal strategies to combatting modern slavery in the Post-Soviet region and beyond

Dr. Laura Dean, Millikin University, will speak on human trafficking in eastern Europe as part of the International Studies Spring Speaker Series.

Grad Bash

Student Alumni Association and the Book Store are teaming up to create an awesome graduation event. There will be free food, cap decorating, games, photos with Sycamore Sam and graduation gown pick-up.

African Global Night: A splash of Africa

African Global Night brings you music, theater, dance and fashion in an eventful evening of cultural diversity.

The event is free for students. Tickets will be $5 for students (for dinner) with their ID and $10 for non-students.

The ticket price includes a dinner of dishes traditional to various African nations at Centenary United Methodist Church, 301 N. 7th St., directly after the show.
