Disability Awareness Month: The Disability rights are civil rights

The goal of this first program is to educate and engage the audience in the history of disability and the disability rights movement. The program will consist of a presentation to explore the ways in which the foundations of our society are based upon ableist perceptions, values and systems and how these contributed to shaping the disability experience and continued fight for equality.

Painting in Hues of Blue

The Office of New Student Transition Programs will be hosting an event at Dede Plaza South. Painting in Hues of Blue will allow students to paint in various different shades of blue to create paintings that showcase some of their favorite memories while attending STATE. This event will allow students to paint and learn more information about becoming a Blue Team Leader for the upcoming school year.

Keep It Real (Carnival theme)

Keep It Real RX is a game that provides a safe space for people to explore and share their memories, reflections, beliefs, dreams, feelings, fantasies, imaginations and secret desires out loud! Playing this bold, profound and interactive game will transport you beyond the realm of who you always imagined yourself to be, and will free you to become more of who you really are. Real questions you have always wanted to ask, but never dared to "Real questions you have always secretly wanted to discuss”.
